A camera's lens is the only thing which limits you when taking a snapshot of a large scenery. Even if you try using special attachments, you can only cover a portion of the scenery. The answer to this problem is to create a panorama. It requires taking a few pictures and sticking them together with specialized software and using AcroPano Photo Stitcher is the easiest way to do this. It will create horizontal, vertical or 360 panoramas in a few seconds, without slowing you down with any complex options.

AcroPano Photo Stitcher is free to try for a certain period of time. You can use it on your Windows powered computer, without needing top of the line hardware. The setup package is small and it will not take long to install the software.

The software will take you through a few easy steps, just like a wizard. First, you have to load the pictures that you want to use for a panorama. Once loaded on the interface, you can rearrange their order by clicking and dragging them. You may let the program arrange the images for you by clicking the auto-sequence option on the interface.

You can opt for one of three types of panoramas, by clicking the buttons on the lower part of the interface. AcroPano Photo Stitcher is capable of creating horizontal, 360 or vertical panoramas. When you are done arranging the images, you may click the Next button in the lower right corner of the window. The software will start processing the images and in a few seconds, you will reach the second stage of the process. The images will be overlapped and distorted, thus forming the panorama. You can use a rectangle tool to select what area of this new picture to save.

If you are not satisfied with how the panorama comes out, you can adjust how the images overlap each other. After clicking the Advanced button, on the lower end of the interface, you will be able to see groups of two images, side by side. After switching to this view mode, you can change the stitching positions by clicking and dragging markers on both images. It is also possible to add a colored frame to your selection, a title and a copyright text. You can preview the results during the final step of the process, where you will also find the Save option. AcroPano Photo Stitcher can save your work as a file in JPEG, BMP, TIFF, BMP or TGA format, using various resolutions and qualities.

Pros

The software's controls are very simple. It will not bog you down with countless tools and options. You may create different types of panoramas and all it takes is to click on whatever you want and let the software take care of the rest. The best part is that your photos will be stitched together automatically and you only need to make minor adjustments, which is optional.

Cons

It is not possible to resize the interface. AcroPano Photo Stitcher's user friendly design lets you create high quality panoramas in just three easy steps.
